Mama Burrito found out about this place in the Tanforan Mall for kids called Hop n Play. The best part is that it's free for kids who can't walk yet. Her first time was on Thursday with Mama and Grandma Chan. Yesterday, I went there for the first time with Mini while the women went shopping.
The Hop n Play consists of a bunch of mini rides and play areas for kids. Mini is probably a bit young. Most of the rides were too advanced for her. She was a big fan of the peanut ride (the first video), riding it 4-5 times. She kept pointing to it so I assumed that's what she wanted to do, but she would just sit there with a blank expression so I wasn't really sure if she was enjoying it.
She got scared on the waterbox (see image). It was like a sandbox except it was filled with water like a waterbed. When I first put her in, she just sat there as other kids jumped in and out. Then I put her down on all fours so she could crawl but she wasn't really digging the unstable surface. Finally, she decided to just lay down. It was really cute. Then the boy in the picture came by. He tried to ply Mini with toys, but it was only a precursor to the advances he would make on her. As she was focusing on the toys, he tried to make a move on her, putting his arm around her and planting a kiss on her forehead. I quickly picked her up and took her away.
In the last video, I put mini on another spinning ride. Actually, during this whole time, I couldn't tell if she was having any fun. Her face was stoic the entire time (re: first video). But she finally smiled when she saw Mama and Grandma Chan through the window. It was cute because she would turn towards them and point and wave as she went around in a circle. Fun times. Sorry about the sideways videos.
