Mommy
After the Dillon Beach trip, you started calling me Mommy instead of Mama. I'm not sure if I like this since you tend to make it sound like a whine. Sometimes it gets annoying because you keep repeating it. Sometimes it even sounds creepy because you say it mischievously. I like it better than Mama only when you say Mommy in your sing-song voice. But overall, I liked Mama better because you pronounced it with a French accent sometimes (I hope I can always hear and remember the way you said it).

Ladybug and Oreo
We spent the morning at Presidio Heights playground and boy was it hot. It usually takes you the entire day to finish your sippy cup but today you drank it within two hours.
You've seen lots of picture ladybugs but today you found a real one crawling in the grass. We spent a good fifteen minutes playing with it. You let it crawl all over your arms, legs, socks, and DooDoo. I finally had to hide ladybug because it's wing looked damaged. Sorry ladybug!
And I am proud to announce that you have graduated from the baby area to the big kids structure. I tried to corral you back to the toddler pen but you had no interest. You only wanted the big slide and tricycle.
And you figured out how to eat Oreos! This is your first time eating them and only because they came in the lunch pack. The first one you ate regularly until it split and you saw there was direct access to the creme. You immediately licked off the creme and went straight for the second cookie. This time you pulled it apart and scraped off the middle and threw away the cookie part. Then you slowly enjoyed the creme part, licking away at your sticky fingers.
